Mick O’Dwyer

Mick O’Dwyer is the Founder and CEO of SwiftComply, a software company that helps cities manage water and wastewater. He previously worked as a wastewater engineer and launched Europe’s first Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) management program in Dublin. His company now operates across North America.

O’Dwyer’s experience managing wastewater programs gave him a unique view of the industry. He grew frustrated with slow, paper-based inspection systems. This inspired him to start his own business to make environmental compliance easier and more efficient.

He first built a company called Evolution Environmental Services in 2012 to do hands-on environmental inspections. He later founded SwiftComply in 2016 to create digital solutions for water utilities.

Under his leadership, the company has grown to serve hundreds of water authorities. Today, O’Dwyer manages a large team from the company headquarters in Pleasanton, California, and Dublin, Ireland.
